Webinar | Germany: Digital Roundtable for the Education Sector
For many universities and educational institutions an international orientation is part of their development strategy. However, semesters abroad are much more difficult to carry out in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
How can educational institutions overcome the current situation and who is responsible for the care of employees, teachers and students abroad? Together with Sebastian von Behren from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and Dr Silvester Siegmann from the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf, we invite you to exchange ideas with other educational authorities and experts, uncover possible gaps and develop solutions.
In a two-part digital workshop, we would like to discuss the following topics with you and other participants from institutions:
- What does the Duty of Care mean for universities, colleges and other educational institutions?
- What responsibility do educational institutions have towards travelling staff, teachers and students?
- Who is responsible and where do the funds come from in order to meet the respective requirements?
- How can universities and schools manage the pandemic and continue their international orientation?
The workshop will take place via Zoom. To encourage interaction, we ask all participants to turn on their cameras and regularly unmute to contribute to the discussion.
